Weekend Practice Match Details:

Saturday 14th September, 2024 Cranbourne BC v Karingal BC
Div 1 and Div 3 teams will play at home (Cranbourne).
Div 2, Div 6 and Div 8 will play at (Karingal).
All games start at 12:00 Midday
Saturday 21st September, 2024 (ALL Teams will play at home)
Div 1 and Div 2 teams will play each other.
Div 3 and Div 6 teams will play against Noble Park BC.
Div 8 team will play against Willow Lodge BC.
All games start at 12:00 Midday.
*** There will be a BBQ after the games ***
Saturday 28th September, 2024 – No games due to it being Grand Final Day.
Saturday 5th October, 2024 (Cranbourne BC v Berwick BC)
Div 1, Div 2 and Div 3 will play at Berwick.
Div 6 and Div 8 will play at Cranbourne.
All games start at 1:00 pm.
Any further practice games will be advised in due course for Saturday 12th October, 2024.

Tuesday 24th September, 2024 (Cranbourne v Pakenham)
Div 2 and Div 4 teams will play at Pakenham BC.
Div 3 and 6-A-Side teams will play at Cranbourne.
All games start at 10:30 am
Tuesday 1st October, 2024 (Cranbourne v Narre Warren BC)
Div 2, Div 3 and Div 4 play at Narre Warren BC
6-A-Side to play an Intraclub game at home.

Tuesday 8th October, 2024 (Intraclub Games)
Div 2, Div 3, Div 4 and 6-A-Side will play each other at home (Cranbourne)

Tuesday 22nd October, 2024 – Start of 2024-2025 Pennant Season, Round 1. Refer to Club Website and Whiteboards for team selections.

Green Fees – Practice match green fees ($10) are applicable for both Tuesday and Saturday if practice games are played against another club either home or away.
Practice match green fees are NOT applicable if playing Intra club games (ie) CBC v CBC.
All members are reminded that Membership Fees must be paid prior to Practice games starting. Make sure all your gear and equipment is ready to use. Do what you need to manage your health requirements, medications, hats, glasses, sunscreen etc.
Also remember to check the weather and have wet weather gear to use if required.
Approved bowls apparel is to be worn from once practice games commence.
If you’re unable to play, please make sure your name is on the unavailable lists and that the selectors are aware.

Cranbourne Bowling Club
- Social Bowls – Currently running each Wednesday and Saturday during winter. 10:00 am starts. Registration sheets for both days are up for you to put your name on. Any concerns, please contact Steve Bakker or Scott De Piazza on 0414359 112 and 0413 065 132.
- Please note that social members will not be allowed to play on the grass greens until one of the club’s coaches has approved that member to use the grass greens. As you would appreciate the grass greens are special and must not be damaged.
- Helpers for maintenance on Monday mornings are always welcome. Just turn up at around 8 – 8.30 am and you will be put to good use with something that needs attention. The club grounds are looking great at present, as they usually do. Thank you Hans Hero’s.
Club Championships 2024-2025
Members are advised that entries for the up coming Open Triples & Open Fours for 2024-2025 close on Thursday 12th September 2024 and the draws will follow thereafter. If you wish to play, get your name on the entry sheets and pay your $10 entry fee via the envelopes provided.
Club Pennant Shirts:
‘Members are reminded that the Club has received Bowls Australia and BowlsVic approval for a new Club Shirt. These are currently in the process of being negotiated with the supplier and you can contact Monica Peers on 0432 081 577 to arrange a fitting and ordering. Please note at this time either the clubs existing shirt or new one may be worn for Pennant.
